Metallised paper, with the metal distributed throughout so that no differential dimensional changes occur or resin treatment, is produced by working metal powder in with the paper mass and precipitating it with Al2(SO4)3, Na aluminate, epichlorhydrin, polyethyleneimine, polyamines, and/or polyacrylates, which bind it to the fibres. Preferably different grain sizes and different metals are used in the powder, and organic or inorganic colourants may also be used. |
