PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for re-gasifying liquefied natural gas are provided to prevent corrosion not to use seawater for re-gasification, and increase energy efficiency by combining an indirect heating method with a heat medium fluid and a direct heating method with steam. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for re-gasifying liquefied natural gas(100) comprises a boiler(140), a first heat exchanger(110), a second heat exchanger(120), and a third heat exchanger(130). The boiler generates steam using boil-off gas supplied from a liquefied natural gas storage tank(210). The first heat exchanger heat-exchanges liquefied natural gas with a heat medium fluid to re-gasify. The second heat exchanger heat-exchanges the re-gasified natural gas in the first heat exchanger with the steam generating in the boiler. The third heat exchanger allows to decrease clear water temperatures using the heat medium fluid passing through the first heat exchanger. The clear water cools a heat engine such as an engine of the ship etc. |
