PURPOSE: A device for preventing overheat and freezing of a heat collecting pipe for a solar heat hot water system is provided to prevent overheat by limiting dosage of sunlight by covering a heat collecting pipe with a screen during the summer season and to automatize the movement of the screen by controlling the amount of the opening and closing of the screen by detecting the temperature of hot water in a thermal storage tank. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing overheat and freezing of a heat collecting pipe for a solar heat hot water system comprises a heat collecting part and a thermal storage tank. A heat collecting pipe is formed in the inner side of a case(1) of a rectangular box shape. A closable screen is installed in the upper part of the heat collecting pipe(3) and prevents overheat by covering the heat collecting pipe. Clamping fixtures(4,4a) are coupled with the upper part and the lower part of the case. In the inner side of the clamping fixtures, a screen winding shaft(49) having wire winding globes(41,41a) at both sides is coupled. A motor(M) is installed in the outer circumference of the clamping fixtures. A screen(47) and wires(46, 46a) are individually reeled in the opposite direction of the winding direction to each other.
