Method for producing, updating and configuring discrete simulation models

The method involves receiving data describing a number of properties of the simulated system in data processing system. A workflow graph showing the elements of a static simulation model is determined. The configuration of the elements of the static simulation model is performed by determining empirical distributions of the data. An independent claim is included for data processing system.
