摘要 The present invention relates to a device and method for correctly recognizing the location of each robot even when one or more robots enter an intelligent space for the first time. The device for recognizing the location of a robot comprises an image-capture unit, which captures an image of a space, a motion-tracing unit which obtains, from the image information from the image-capture unit, motion information on a robot moving in the space, and a motion-analyzing unit, which converts the motion information expressed in image coordinates, obtained from the motion tracing unit, into motion information expressed in spatial coordinates to obtain an actual motion pattern of the robot, and compares the actual motion pattern of the robot with a preset motion pattern to determine the actual motion pattern as the motion of a particular robot. The motion pattern obtained from the image information of a camera and the motion of a robot are analyzed in order to determine whether or not the motion pattern matches the motion of the robot. Then, the location of the robot is measured and matched to the unique name of the robot. In this manner, the location of an individual robot can be measured. By applying the present device, a means can be provided for communicating with a space using a near-field communication network, even when a robot moves in the space. Even though a plurality of robots move into a new space, the individual locations of the robots can be measured in a short time.
