A method of managing security of an image forming apparatus that supports a P 2 P connection based on a signal intensity includes: measuring an intensity of a signal transmitted from an external wireless device by the image forming apparatus; and controlling an access of the wireless device by the image forming apparatus based on the measured signal intensity.
