PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent a rotation of a thrust bearing and a rotary shaft, thereby improve the reliability. CONSTITUTION: A bearing housing(120) comprises a side board and a bottom board contacting with an outer surface of the bearing. A thrust bearing(130) is arranged in an upper side of the bottom board. A stator(300) is fixed on an outer periphery of the bearing housing. The stator comprises a core and a coil wound in the core. A rotary shaft(400) is arranged in the bearing to be able to rotate. The rotary shaft contacts one end facing the bottom plate with the thrust bearing.
