<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type vehicle capable of securing the capacity of a storage box, lowering a thermal influence on a controller, and providing high water-proof properties and high dust-proof properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The scooter type vehicle includes: a unit swing type engine 10 which is attached to a vehicle frame in a freely swinging manner, and is resiliently supported by a cushion unit 15; an intake device 47 of a fuel injection type having a throttle body 49 connected to the intake port of a cylinder assembly 39, an air cleaner 48A connected to the throttle body, a fuel injection means 50, and a controller 58 for controlling the quantity of fuel injection of the fuel injection means 50; and the storage box 7A disposed above the engine 10.
