PURPOSE: A shock absorbing steering column for a vehicle is provided to manage stable collision load in a vehicle crash by maintaining the fixed fastening force of a fixing unit. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing steering column for a vehicle comprises a plate bracket(140), a mounting bracket(130), a connecting member(220), a stopper bracket(210), and a connecting member. A joint hole is formed on one side of the plate bracket and a fixing member is integrated with the other side. A collapse hole is formed on the position corresponding to the fixing member and the joint hole. The connecting member is coupled through the coupling hole of the plate bracket. A fixing hole is formed on one side of the stopper bracket. |
