PURPOSE: A road sign with an LED unit is provided to facilitate the installation work of a road sign or a traffic safety sign by making the wiring at a site unnecessary and to be used safely with the installation of a waterproof cable and connecter to protect from water and moisture. CONSTITUTION: A road sign includes multiple sign boards(10), an LED unit(20), a switching connection plate and multiple waterproof connectors. The sign boards are installed on pillars fixed on both sides of a road and formed with front plates(11), rear plates and edges(13). The LED unit is settled on the inner side of the sign body and sends a ray of light onto a guide sign. The opening and shutting connection plate opens and closes the upper side of the rear side plate of the sign board and is connected to the LED unit. The waterproof connector is settled on the inner side of the opening and shutting connection plate for the current to flow to the LED unit and is connected to multiple waterproof cables which are connected to a power source.
