PURPOSE: A proximity sensing device and a portable terminal equipped with the same are provided to extend the proximity detection of a sensor to a case frame of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A main board(310) includes a proximity sensor part. A first sensor(340) is attached to the main board. The first sensor corresponds to an object for detecting the proximity of the object. The first sensor is electrically connected to the proximity sensor part. A second sensor(350) is equipped in a case frame which forms an outer body. The second sensor is electrically connected with the first sensor.
