PURPOSE: A self-generation system is provided to allow a rotary blade of a generating part to tightly adhere to the outer surface of a rotating part when folded because the rotary blade is curved along the curve of the rotating part and to minimize resistances against the rotary blade. CONSTITUTION: A self-generation system comprises a central part(22), a rotating part(21), a generating part, and a structure for driving the generating part. The rotating part is coupled to the outer periphery of the central part and attached with a rotary blade(23) on the exterior thereof. The generating part generates electricity according to the rotation of the rotating part. The structure comprises a drain installed at the top of a cofferdam structure and one or more guide members for guiding the flow of water drained from the drain. The guide members are formed obliquely from the top to the bottom of the structure to guide the flow of water, wherein the water from the bottom of an upper guide member falls on the top of a lower guide member. The guide members include one or more generating units. The rotary blade is folded and unfolded according to position. The generating units include a blade position selecting part that controls the folding and unfolding of the blade according to the inflow direction of water.
