PURPOSE: A tablet type toothpaste is provided to ensure convenience and portability, and to prevent dental caries, periodontal diseases, and tartar. CONSTITUTION: A tablet type toothpaste contains 60-90 wt% of binder, 1-20 wt% of abrasive, 0.1-15 wt% of foaming agent, 0.1-10 wt% of sweetener, 0.1-10 wt% of antioxidant, and 0.1-10 wt% of flavoring agent. The binder is sorbitol powder. The abrasive is silicon dioxide. The foaming agent is sodium lauryl sulfate. The sweetener is xylitol and stevioside. The antioxidant is vitamin C. The flavoring agent is peppermint and menthol.
