PURPOSE: An active clutch is provided to prevent the malfunction of a clutch and to deliver or cutoff the power of an engine by changing the power of a drive unit into a rectilineal movement. CONSTITUTION: An active clutch comprises a leaf spring(40), a drive unit(79), a power transmission unit(90), a stud bearing(76), a transformation plate(80), and a cutoff units(80a,78c). The leaf spring provides virtual pressure in order to adhere a clutch disk(20) to a fly wheel(10). The clutch disk is connected to an output shaft(12). The fly wheel receives power from an engine. The drive unit provides the power for transforming the leaf spring. The power transmission unit delivers the power of the drive unit. The stud bearing is installed in the power transmission unit in order to rotate on the output shaft. The transformation plate is pressurized towards the leaf plate by the stud bearing and is slidably installed in the output shaft. The cutoff unit prevents the leaf spring from being pressurized beyond the set value by limiting the movement of the stud bearing.
