APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT USING PHOTOCATALYST

PURPOSE: An apparatus for water treatment and a method of treating water are provided to allow contaminated water to be purified more efficiently by a photocatalytic reaction by regularly spreading magnetic photocatalystic powder in the contaminated water and reduce the costs of transport and the waste of resources by using collecting and reusing the powder. CONSTITUTION: A method of treating water comprises; a step to put magnetic photocatalytic powder combined with polluted water into a tub(110) for treatment, a step to break down the pollutants in the polluted water by activating the powder with a light exposed to the powder, a step to send purified water from the tub by opening a pipe(131) connected to the tub, a step to collect the powder in the purified water by using a magnet(141) which is in the pipe and a step to collect the powder which is obtained from the magnet.
