COMPUTING APPARATUS AND HIBERNATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A computing device using a hibernation image and a hibernation method thereof are provided to quickly restore a previous work state from a hibernation state by quickly cancelling hibernation in response to user input. CONSTITUTION: A UI(User Interface)(400) receives user input to cancel hibernation operation. A control unit(300) classifies a partial process or pages of a work process into priority work groups according to priority for work state restoration, cancels the hibernation operation according to the user input, and activates the priority work groups. A nonvolatile memory(200) stores a hibernation image including the priority work groups. The hibernation image is divided into pieces to be sequentially recorded in the nonvolatile memory.
