ELECTRIC PROPULSION TYPE LNG FUEL SUPPLY VESSEL

PURPOSE: An electric propulsion type LNG tanker is provided to reduce fuel consumption using electricity stored in a battery as fuel. CONSTITUTION: An electric propulsion type LNG tanker(1) comprises a DFDE(Dual Fuel Diesel Engine)(8) and a battery(9). The LNG tanker loads LNG from an LNG terminal to refuel LNG to an LNG propelled ship(2) on the berth. A large amount of evaporative gas and recovery gas caused in refueling is combusted to drive a generator, thereby producing electricity. The produced electricity is stored in the batter to sail the LNG tanker. The LNG tanker uses the evaporative gas and the recovery gas as fuel, which were generated in a fuel tank(6) and an LNG fuel feeding pipe(5) of the LNG propelled ship. The DFDE is driven to produce the electricity.
