UNDERCOATING LIQUID, UNDERCOATING LAYER, AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray curable undercoating liquid which has high adhesiveness with a base material and can form an undercoating layer having high adhesiveness with both of the base material and a colored layer.

SOLUTION: The active energy ray curable undercoating liquid (C) includes at least a compound (A) having ethylenically unsaturated groups and a photoinitiator (B) for forming the undercoating layer (D) on the base material surface. As the compound (A) having ethylenically unsaturated groups, the active energy ray curable undercoating liquid (C) includes at least: 40-80 mass% of a phenoxyethyl (meth)acrylate (A1); 5-30 mass% of a tertiary-butylcyclohexyl (meth)acrylate (A2); and 1-15 mass% of a bifunctional urethane (meth)acrylate (A3).
