<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter-weight compact bearing block for achieving, in particular, reduction in weight and space, and associated reduction of fuel consumption, which are required, since emission gas control standards for internal combustion engines tend to become more stringent in recent years. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing block 1 is made smaller and light-weighted by forming integrally the bearing block 1 and by providing an annular closed bearing eye 4 for a camshaft 2, as to the bearing block 1 for supporting the camshaft 2 onto a cylinder head 3 of the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
