<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilized zirconia sintered refractory also having high corrosion resistance, and in particular, a sintered refractory having enhanced corrosion resistance in relation to molten glass. <P>SOLUTION: A sintered refractory includes, as chemical components, 60 to 92 mass% Z<SB POS="POST">r</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 2.5 to 12 mass% S<SB POS="POST">i</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 0.3 to 4 mass% Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0.1 to 10 mass% C<SB POS="POST">a</SB>O, 0 to 18 mass% Y<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, and 0 to 18 mass% C<SB POS="POST">e</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and a mass ratio expressed by Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>/S<SB POS="POST">i</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is within a range of 0.05 to 0.8. In a stabilized zirconia sintered refractory, Z<SB POS="POST">r</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is present as stabilized zirconia containing at least one type of a component selected from Y<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, C<SB POS="POST">a</SB>O, and C<SB POS="POST">e</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and the porosity of the sintered refractory is 3 to 50%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
