<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a sidewall reinforcing layer that high-dimensionally achieves both durability of a run flat tire and low-fuel consumption, and a run flat tire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a sidewall reinforcing layer includes modified natural rubber with a phosphorus content of 200 ppm or less and carbon black, wherein the content of the modified natural rubber in 100 mass% of a rubber component is 5 mass% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
