<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone rubber having sufficient strength and elasticity, to provide a molded article thereof, and to provide a method for producing the silicone rubber. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the silicone rubber includes a step of swelling a raw material silicone rubber, obtained by crosslinking a composition containing ≥10 pts.mass of (B) silica based on 100 pts.mass of (A) an organopolysiloxane having several polymerizable unsaturated bonds in one molecule, and (C) a crosslinking agent, with a linear hydrocarbon-based solvent, and drying the resultant product.
