<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for cleaning processing of a recording head by making the recording operation more efficient and improving the productivity than in conventional constitutions. <P>SOLUTION: The recording system is equipped with a specifying means which specifies an unused head not used for recording, a rotation determining means which determines whether or not a recording head of a cleaning object can be made the unused head by rotation of recording data when the recording head of the cleaning object is not a recording head specified by the specifying means, a rotating means which rotates the recording data when it is determined by the rotation determining means that the recording head of the cleaning object can be made the unused head, and a recording control means which allows a cleaning mechanism capable of individually cleaning recording heads to carry out cleaning processing to the recording head of the cleaning object while recording based on the recording data is performed by using recording heads other than the cleaning object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
