<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device and a motor control method which make it possible to suppress a torque fluctuation or an unusual sound generated in a three-phase synchronous motor during PWM control. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor control device 1, a three-phase synchronous motor 2 is controlled by three-phase voltage command values (V<SB POS="POST">UCMD</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">VCMD</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">WCMD</SB>) which are pulse width modulated. The motor control device 1 comprises: a DQ-UVW conversion unit 22 which calculates three-phase voltages (V<SB POS="POST">U</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">V</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">W</SB>) on the basis of a Q axis voltage V<SB POS="POST">Q</SB>and a D axis voltage V<SB POS="POST">D</SB>supplied to the three-phase synchronous motor 2; and a tertiary harmonics superposition unit 24 which divides the three-phase voltages (V<SB POS="POST">U</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">V</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">W</SB>) calculated by the DQ-UVW conversion unit 22 by a square sum of the Q axis voltage V<SB POS="POST">Q</SB>and the D axis voltage V<SB POS="POST">D</SB>after being multiplied twice by themselves to calculate tertiary harmonics, and further superposes the calculated tertiary harmonics on the three-phase voltages (V<SB POS="POST">U</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">V</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">W</SB>) to calculate three-phase voltage command values (V<SB POS="POST">UCMD</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">VCMD</SB>, V<SB POS="POST">WCMD</SB>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
