<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ideally high-voltage, low-on-resistance, and low-off-capacitance solid-state relay. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a solid-state relay 10 comprising a light-emitting diode 11 as an input element and two transistors 12, 13 as output elements. The two transistors have different withstand voltages and/or different electric capacitances.
