<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for monitoring a temperature of a treated area using ultrasound, and a system for treatment and diagnosis by use of the ultrasound. <P>SOLUTION: By the method and the apparatus for monitoring the temperature by using the ultrasound, an echo signal of diagnostic ultrasound irradiated toward the treated area is captured, a candidate temperature image is generated from the captured echo signal, and a final temperature image is generated by merging the generated candidate temperature image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
