PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of rewrites in a nonvolatile memory, or to secure accuracy of a count value.
SOLUTION: A compound machine 10 rewrites a count value in a nonvolatile memory 34 with a certain probability by each printing of one sheet. Accordingly, the number of rewrites in the nonvolatile memory 34 can be reduced in comparison with a case of rewriting the count value by each printing of one sheet. Further, as the number of rewrites of the count value increases, proportion of the number of rewrites of the count value against the number of printed sheets becomes closer to the probability, so that the accuracy of the count value can be secured.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
