<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and economical decontamination apparatus using an alternating magnetic flux. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation decontamination apparatus comprises a flat disk-like rotor 1, and a motor 2 that is connected with the rotor 1 via a rotation shaft 2a. A plurality of permanent magnets 1a are configured to be fixed at an arbitrary interval inside the rotor 1, and the rotor 1 is rotated at high speed by the rotation shaft 2a connected with the motor 2.
