<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper sheet feeder capable of making a sheet of roll paper sheet enter a recording portion at a fixed angle with a comparatively simple configuration, in roll paper sheet feeding. <P>SOLUTION: Owing to recording, the roll paper sheet S is consumed and an outer diameter of the roll paper sheet S is reduced. On this occasion, a roll rotating shaft 30 is biased upward by a biasing power of a lift suspension 13 through a roll lifter 12. As a result, the roll paper sheet S bumps to a roll paper sheet feed-assist roller 15 supported by a roll cover 14 in a locked state as in the state where the roll paper sheet S is not consumed. That is, a relative position to a recording device to which the sheet of the roll paper sheet is fed out from the roll paper sheet S is identical to that in the state where the roll paper sheet S is not consumed, therefore the sheet feed angle to the recording portion does not change.
