CURABLE LIQUID COMPOSITE LIGHT EMITTING DIODE ENCAPSULANT

PURPOSE: A curable liquid composite is provided to be cured in an elastomer and to have high refractivity, good thermal stability, and transparency. CONSTITUTION: A curable liquid polysiloxane/TiO2 composite for an encapsulant of a light-emitting diode includes a polysiloxane with a TiO2 domain of which the average domain size is 5 nm or less. The curable liquid polysiloxane/TiO2 composite contains 20-60 mol% of TiO2 based on the total solid material. The refractivity of the curable liquid polysiloxane/TiO2 composite is 1.61-1.7. The liquid polysiloxane/TiO2 compound is in a liquid state at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
