摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electro-optical element capable of increasing the number of image resolution points of deflection light while increasing a deflection angle of the deflection light, and an optical deflection device thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide layer 11 formed of an electro-optical material includes a first region 101 in which a refraction prism for electrically controlling its refraction index is formed, and a second region in which a diffraction grating for electrically controlling diffraction of light propagating in the light guide layer 11.
