<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster antenna for an RFID tag that is less susceptible to influence of moisture and metal. <P>SOLUTION: A booster antenna 2 for an RFID tag using a UHF band includes: a main part 20 for forming an antenna 2A; and a pair of branch parts 21 for forming an antenna 2B. The booster antenna 2 has such a shape that the pair of branch parts 21 are protruded from the main part 20. A ratio of a length of the substantially U-shaped antenna 2B to a length of the rectangular antenna 2A is 1:1.6 to 2.6. This shape achieves a gentle mountain of a frequency characteristic curve of the booster antenna 2, and consequently eliminating extreme performance degradation even when resonance frequency is shifted due to the influence of metal and water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
