<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter with a punching device which can efficiently eliminate punched chips even if a large quantity of punched chips come out, and to provide a method of eliminating the punched chips. <P>SOLUTION: In a state that the operation for cutting or punching is being performed, the punched chips generated in the operation of a punching device 7 is blown away by the air from an air injecting part 8, and can be collected and stored in a storage part 9. The storage part 9 includes an opening/closing door 9a, and is configured to close a connection opening 9b when storing the punched chips. A control section 10 controls a cutting head 3 to move to an outer peripheral part of a cutting table 2 so that the connection opening 9b of the storage part 9 is connected to a suction opening 11a of a sucking and eliminating part 11 and that the punched chips inside the storage part 9 can be sucked into a storage vessel 11c for elimination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
