<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper structure for a vehicle having a shock absorbing body capable of springing up lower legs of a collided pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: This bumper structure for the vehicle is provided by installing a lower stage side shock absorbing body 30 of arranging a plurality of vertical directional ribs 31 erected at a predetermined interval in the vehicle body width direction by extending in the vehicle body longitudinal direction and a plurality of horizontal directional ribs 33 erected at a predetermined interval in the vehicle body longitudinal direction by extending in the vehicle body width direction, in a grating shape, in a cross member arranged in a front end part of a vehicle body. The lower stage side shock absorbing body 30 is formed by arranging the horizontal cell group front 38 and the horizontal cell group rear 40 where cells 35 defined by the vertical directional ribs 31 and the horizontal directional ribs 33, continuously extend to both sides in the vehicle body width direction, in two rows in the vehicle body longitudinal direction. Respective horizontal cell groups are movably supported with a central part in the vehicle body width direction as a fulcrum, both sides in the vehicle body width direction are freely deflectively deformed in the vehicle body longitudinal direction, and the vehicle body front side is curvedly formed in a projecting shape in a plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
