<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear generator suitable for an environment where an installation is made under conditions, such as problems inherent in a shock absorber, and height of an installation place and size of a housing area depending on a vehicle type. <P>SOLUTION: Fins are installed in an air circulation space to the outer periphery of a shock absorber and a linear generator is installed outside thereof. Moreover, the linear generator is installed in parallel to a vibration reducing device of a vehicle of every kind, and electric power is generated by replacing operation of a piston rod of the vibration reducing device with sliding of a power generation unit of the liner generator.
