<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for controlling a flexible display. <P>SOLUTION: The device for controlling a flexible display includes: a DC-AC converter unit which converts a DC driving voltage to an AC driving voltage having a prescribed period; a control unit which determines which of the DC driving voltage and the AC driving voltage should be applied to an ion layer; a driving unit which drives cells constituting the ion layer on the basis of the applied DC driving voltage or AC driving voltage; and a display unit which changes the shape correspondingly to an input on the basis of the driven cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
