PURPOSE: A bumper beam for a vehicle is provided to reinforce the rigidity of a lateral part with a reinforcement unit being installed in a lateral unit of a bumper beam and to induce a stable collapse mode, thereby enhancing the offset collision performance of the bumper beam. CONSTITUTION: A bumper beam for a vehicle comprises an insertion hole(9) and reinforcing unit(10). The insertion hole is formed in a lateral part of a bumper beam(1). The insertion hole is formed a piercing hole in a front one side of the bumper beam. The insertion hole is formed of an outer shape form of the reinforcing unit. The reinforcing unit is fixed while being fitted into the insertion hole. The reinforcing unit is composed of a first member and second member. The first and second members are welded to each other through first and second assembling parts(31,33). |
