<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting fixture of a projector type in which the design of a projection lens is given a novelty without giving glare to an oncoming driver or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle lighting fixture is provided with a mirror member 18 which has an upward oriented reflecting surface 18a for reflecting a part of reflection light from a reflector 16, and of which the front end edge 18a1 is arranged so as to pass the rear focal point F of a projection lens 12. Then, as a structure of the projection lens 12, almost upper half portion 12aB in the front side 12a is divided into five front regions 12a1-12a5 through ridgelines R. Thereby, for a pedestrian or the like observing the vehicle lighting fixture 10, the design of the projection lens 12 gives an impression having novelty, while the amount of light going toward the upper part of the cut-off line becomes less in forming a low-beam light distribution pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
