<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of surely keeping airtightness in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 23 covering a top opening 21 of a fixture body 20 has a protruded part 234 protruded outside from a top face 201 of the fixture body 20, and a tapered part 203 slanted inward upward is provided at the top end of an outer periphery face 202 of fixture body 20. Then, an elastic ring 28 with elasticity is provided so as to be in contact with a lower face of the protruded part 234 and the tapered part 203, so that the elastic ring 28 contracts due to its elastic force, rises along the tapered part 203, and is pressed to the protruded part 234 of the cover 23.
