<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of current detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In order to detect an output current I2 to a load, a current detection circuit includes: a transistor element 21 having a source terminal thereof connected to a current input section 11; a resistor 14 connected to a drain terminal of the element 21; a resistor 15 having one end connected serially to the other end of the resistor 14 and the other end connected to a current output section 12; a ground resistor 22 which grounds a gate terminal of the element 21; and a photo-MOS relay 23 comprising MOS transistor elements Tra and Trb which short-circuit or open-circuit between an appropriate one of a pair of output terminals 23b and 23c and a common terminal 23d in accordance with a control signal Sc, and having the output terminal 23b connected to the current input section 11, the output terminal 23c connected to one end of the resistor 15, and the common terminal 23d connected to the gate terminal of the element 21.
