<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the network band effectively by switching a distribution system depending on the viewing status of a program. <P>SOLUTION: In a multicast distribution system having a transmitter and a plurality of receivers, a multicast distribution method for distributing a program from the transmitter includes a management step for managing the viewing status of a program, and a switching step for switching a distribution system by individual VLAN set individually between the transmitter and each receiver viewing the program, and a distribution system by broadcast VLAN set for broadcast distribution between the transmitter and the plurality of receivers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
