<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a communication system enabling efficient use of channels in a data center. <P>SOLUTION: A gateway device relays communication between first and second servers provided in a data center and an external communication device located outside the data center. A control device acquires observation results obtained by observing a communication amount, a data amount transmitted and received in a unit time, for each virtual machine operated in the first and second servers, in association with data transmission sources and destinations. The control device checks whether a first number of hops from the gateway device to the first server is smaller than a second number of hops from the gateway device to the second server. If the first number of hops is smaller than the second number of hops, the control device controls the disposition of virtual machines so that a virtual machine having larger communication amount with the external communication device is easier to be disposed in the first server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
