<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush designed so that fingers of a user hardly slip and a feeling of touch is excellent even if a handle is made thick. <P>SOLUTION: The toothbrush 1 includes a handle body having a head part 5 and a handle part 2 extending to the head part 5 and bristle tufts planted in the bristle-implantation surface 52 of the head part 5. The handle body includes a body 10 made of a hard resin and a cover body 20 obtained by coating at least part of the body 10 with a soft resin. To the body 10, at least two recessed rows extending in a width direction of the handle body are formed. A space between the any recessed row and other any recessed row is formed as an intermediate part 12.
