Conveyor belts with laterally extending - corrugated reinforcing strips

Conveyor belts with transversely extending longitudinally spaced reinforcing strips are made by embedding the strips in core layers whose thickness corresponds to at least the thickness of the strips and overlying the core layers with textile layers over which are placed cover layers. Strips are pref of stainless steel embedded in rubber or e.g. of rigid PVC embedded in flexible PVC.
