<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase load capacity of a thrust foil bearing where a thrust bearing gap is formed with a thrust bearing surface formed on thin-film-like foil to support a rotary member in a thrust direction by a fluid film produced in the thrust bearing gap. <P>SOLUTION: Magnets 23, 24 are mounted to a rotary member (flange part 40) and a fixed member (thrust member 21), respectively, and support force is assisted in a thrust direction between the rotary member and the fixed member by repulsive force in the thrust direction generated between the magnets 23, 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
