<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mastication frequency meter for receiving movement of an external ear canal by an ear chip in order to measure a mastication frequency and performing measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The mastication frequency meter 1 includes: a flexible and elastic ear chip 3 provided to a housing 2 and projected outward; a vibration sensor 4 supported by the housing 2 at a separated position facing the ear chip 3; and a transmission member 10 whose one part is locked to the ear chip 3 and other part is turned to a free end and abutted on the sensing surface 4a of the vibration sensor 4. Vibrations applied to the ear chip 3 are transmitted through the transmission member 10 to the vibration sensor 4 and the mastication frequency is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
