<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which gives less discomfort and pain when a wearer, in particular, an infant bends his/her legs, and which can effectively prevent adverse effects on the growth of the infants. <P>SOLUTION: A fastening tape 100 of the disposable diaper 10 includes a base sheet 120 formed by non-woven fabric and a hook sheet 110 with a plurality of engaging hooks.
