<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension in which a terminal part is prevented from corrosion. <P>SOLUTION: In a substrate for suspension, a metal support substrate, an insulating layer, a wiring layer, a wiring coating layer and a cover layer are formed in this order. In the substrate for suspension, the wiring layer has a level difference part formed on the surface of the cover layer side, and a terminal part formed continuously from the level difference part and being thinner than other parts; the surface of the wiring layer side of the cover layer is exposed by the terminal part being separated from the cover layer by the level difference part, and a terminal plated part in a single structure that covers a lower end part of the cover layer is formed on the surface of the terminal part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
