<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable selection of processing necessary for coexistence with another radio system while maintaining evenness, without receiving and decoding a signal of another radio system using an identical frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication device in conformity of a specific radio communication scheme includes a transmitter unit, a receiver unit, an interference decision unit and an interference control unit. Using a certain frequency channel, the transmitter unit transmits frames at frame intervals shorter or longer than the predetermined frame intervals of another radio communication scheme which uses a frequency channel possible of interference with the specific radio communication scheme and has a broader communication range. The receiver unit receives frames. The interference decision unit decides at least one of an error characteristic in the received frames and a frequency channel busy state. Based on at least one of the error characteristic and the busy state, the interference control unit performs controls to modify the frequency channel, modify the length of the frame intervals or modify neither of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
