摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more uniformly cool a gradient magnetic field coil than before. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment of this gradient magnetic field coil unit, at least one of one end side and the other end side of a support member incorporated with coil elements is opened, so that a hollow portion is formed thereinside, and the gradient magnetic field coil unit includes a first pipe member, a second pipe member, and a plurality of relay pipe members. The first pipe member is embedded inside the support member from the one end side toward the other end side, and a cooling medium flows into the first pipe member from the one end side. The second pipe member is embedded inside the support member from the one end side toward the other end side so as to face to the first pipe member in a state where the hollow portion is sandwiched between the first pipe member and the second pipe member, and makes the cooling medium flow out from the other end side. The plurality of relay pipe members are embedded inside the support member, are respectively connected to different portions of the first pipe member, are respectively connected to different portions of the second pipe member, and make the cooling medium flowing in from the first pipe member flow into the second pipe member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
